We do not rely on prebuilt programs. We listen first, identify the real challenge, and build solutions designed for the people sitting in front of us.

Stepping Away From the Busy Road

For years, I traveled the same busy road as everyone else— providing coaching, consulting, training, and leadership & team development in the ways people had always expected. But I began seeing that the old methods were no longer reaching everyone. Different generations learned differently, organizations faced new challenges, and prebuilt programs often missed the real problem.

Instead of moving faster with the crowd, I intentionally stepped away from that busty road. I slowed down, listened, studied what was changing, and began rebuilding the way we help people learn, grow, lead, and move forward. We’ve spent this time rebuilding, rewriting, reviewing, and replacing, much of our methods in order to meet people where they are in life today. Although our methods have changed; our message never will; “Always Leave People Better Than We Found Them.™”

Stepping away gave me the space to become the architect and developer of The DenKar Difference.™

It is not a speech, one course, or one prebuilt program. It is a better way of listening first, identifying the real challenge, and then building the solutions around the people sitting in front of us, around us, in the audience, on their laptops, or their phones. Drawing from more than 40 years of business ownership, public service, coaching, consulting, and the life experience, I developed a system that gives people different ways to learn and succeed. That is the foundation of DenKar: You Bring the Challenges–We Build the Solutions, while Always Leaving People Better Than We Found Them.™

Meet Dennis W. Forbus, the experience, vision, architect, and the driving force of purpose behind DenKar Enterprises.

Founder & CEO of DenKar Enterprises, LLC. – Author – Coach – Business Consultant – Speaker

Dennis W. Forbus brings more than 45 years of real-world experience as a business owner, author, coach, consultant, speaker, nonprofit founder, and former public-service professional. His work has included business ownerships, the Sheriff’s Office, drug court, social work, Family Counseling, founder of four nonprofits, and ministry work, giving him firsthand experience with leadership, people, organizations, and some of life’s hardest challenges. He has personally faced challenges that most will never face; losing one home to a house fire, another to a tornado, a business partner that embezzled over $100K. He has also went through doors that others face all over the world; Single Parenting, divorce, and starting over finanically, college debts, empty nest, adopting children, and more. Although Dennis went to college when he was younger, he returned to college while in his late 40’s, while working a full-time job on a church staff, married, a parent to two older children, and adopted two younger children. He was also a Gran-D at that time. He graduated from Liberty University, in 2013, with degrees in Psychology, Christian Counseling, and Criminal Justice. After college, he has continued his education, by becoming certified in more than 36 counseling and coaching certifications and professional memberships. Through DenKar, Dennis turns those lessons into practical solutions that help people move forward. He has written many books filled with life lessons that he learned personally, not from reading about others, but from actually living them.
